I sit where IT and UX overlap — and that overlap is the entire job.

Most people pick a side. I run infrastructure — identity, access, the systems that keep an org online — and I design the interface a person actually touches. Research, prototypes, front-end, the part that has to make sense to a human.

The IT half means a design isn't just pretty — it's feasible, scalable, and honest about what it costs to run. The UX half means a system isn't just functional — it's built around the user, not the admin who configured it.

I like the unglamorous middle: making robust things that don't feel like work to use.
